Congratulations to Our Wildcat Welders! We are pleased to announce that our Wildcat Welders have successfully obtained their OSHA-10 Safety Certifications. In addition, they have received Certificates of Knowledge in Welding Safety from Lincoln Electric and the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3). This initiative is part of a new program introduced this year alongside our Welding Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. The students have demonstrated exceptional performance both in the classroom and in the shop, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for our program. As we strive to meet CTE standards in the upcoming semester, our Wildcat Welders will be focusing on the following certifications: Level 1 Welders: Principles of Welding and Welding Math and Measurements. Level 2-4 Welders: Principles of Welding, Welding Math and Measurements, as well as certifications in SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding). We are more than just an elective; we are building a bridge from high school to the workforce by equipping our students with essential life and professional skills to prepare them for the future! Mr. Aguinaga is very proud of all the students' achievements. We gotta keep on, keep'n on! Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
