Here are our Brackets for our EAJHA Basketball Tournament.
Our 7th Grade boys have a bye tomorrow while the 8th grade boys will travel to Pima and play at 6:00 pm. Our 7th grade girls will travel to Duncan and play at 4:30pm and the 8th grade Girls will play in Safford at 4:30pm.
We hope you all come out and support our Wildcats!

Kids Heart Challenge (KHC) starts soon! We are kicking off tomorrow, January 24th. Our school is proud to support the American Heart Association through this service-learning program. Students will learn how to have happy and healthy hearts and brains, while raising lifesaving donations to help others with special hearts. Plus, your family can learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR through Finn’s Mission!

Congratulations to Tony Aguinaga and Nico Carrasco voted Staffulty of the Month for December. Mr. Aguinaga is an amazing role model and very motivating. He is determined to give his students an upper edge in employment by introducing new industry certifications. He is funny and encourages Wildcat spirit. Mr. Carrasco is an awesome teacher, always positive, very nice, so funny and an all around great person. He is always pushing his students to do better things and be better people.
At the board meeting Mr. Goodman recognized Mr. Aguinaga's Carpentry class for the work they did to create reindeer stalls for FMI's Christmas display and activities at the Morenci Club. The class was represented by Omar Medina, Xavier Fernandez and Illyana Wacondo.
Congratulations to the Preschool Students of the Month for the First Semester. These students were recognized at the board meeting. - Lorelai Barnett, Frida Pinto, Sekani Iglecias, Logan Helms, Blakely Lacey, Kelby Porter, Sway Leonard, Roman Rivera, Dalia Martinez and Zyla Gros. Way to go Wildcats!
December has been full of fun at the Wildkitten Den!
We had so much fun with our families for Christmas Night, Santa & Mrs. Claus said all of our students made the nice list this year!
The Grinch made a special visit yesterday and had all of us laughing. Thank you for not taking our tree, Mr. Grinch!

MHS is celebrating our academic successes! Our students that scored proficient or highly proficient on the ACT test were given entries to a drawing for Beats or Airpods. In continuation of promoting success on the ACT, students that improved on our ACT practice tests were given entries for their choice of shoes! Congratulations to our winners!!
Congratulations to Our Wildcat Welders!
We are pleased to announce that our Wildcat Welders have successfully obtained their OSHA-10 Safety Certifications. In addition, they have received Certificates of Knowledge in Welding Safety from Lincoln Electric and the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3). This initiative is part of a new program introduced this year alongside our Welding Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.
The students have demonstrated exceptional performance both in the classroom and in the shop, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for our program. As we strive to meet CTE standards in the upcoming semester, our Wildcat Welders will be focusing on the following certifications:
Level 1 Welders: Principles of Welding and Welding Math and Measurements.
Level 2-4 Welders: Principles of Welding, Welding Math and Measurements, as well as certifications in SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding).
We are more than just an elective; we are building a bridge from high school to the workforce by equipping our students with essential life and professional skills to prepare them for the future!
Mr. Aguinaga is very proud of all the students' achievements. We gotta keep on, keep'n on!

Congratulations to Danille Keen and Beck Baumeister voted Staffulty of the Month for Fairbanks Middle School. Ms. Keen takes a lot care to ensure the students have a positive library experience. She has worked to maintain relationships with students, welcoming them into the library with both warmth and fun activities. Ms. Baumeister is hardworking, caring and dedicated to helping the students. She is a strong leader and an amazing co-worker always helping other teachers.
