Attention Parents of Morenci High School! We are partnering with a team of research scientists and educational specialists to bring an excellent opportunity!
The aim is to bring authentic research experience into the classroom. We will bring together high school students, scientists, and communities to design and carry out studies in environmental neuroscience.
We will be using MindHive. This is a multidimensional tool that consists of hands-on tools that support students in participating in and learning from studies designed by professional brain scientists and other students; generating their own research questions and hypotheses; designing research studies; giving and receiving peer feedback; collecting and analyzing data; and presenting their results.
Students learn about basic principles and methods in the human brain and behavior science, engage in questions about research ethics and citizen science, and discuss the processes that drive scientific discovery and rigor.
We are excited to bring this opportunity to our school. If you have any questions, feel free to get in contact!

Please come out and support our Fairbanks Spelling Bee Participants as they compete in the District Spelling Bee taking place tonight at 6 pm in the Metcalf Multipurpose Room. Good luck, Wildcats!
