Studies show that children with active grandparents in their lives turn out healthier and happier than average. Thanks to all of our grandparents who participated in this fun day! An extra special thanks to our "adopted grandparents" who filled in for those who couldn't attend.
Please note Thursday, 09/14 and Friday, 09/15 are both early release days! FMS will dismiss at 11:20AM.
The science is in and the results are clear-loving grandparents can make a big difference in their grandchildren's lives. Grandparents Day was a huge success at Wildkitten Den!!
Next week the Scholastic Book Fair will be visiting Metcalf Elementary! Students will be able to shop with their class during the week. If you would like to shop with your child join us on Wednesday afternoon from 2:30-4:30 for family night. Come join us on Friday, September 15, to celebrate the MHS Turf Field opening! Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, cheer on our MHS football team as they play their first home game against the Blue Ridge Yellowjackets. Bring your friends and family to fill the stands.
