Cash payments of $30 ($10 for Free and Reduced) for Chromebook insurance may be made during the scheduled times above.

Doctors and providers from Family Medical Center are offering a free sports physical clinic for local student athletes for the 2023 – 2024 school year.
The clinic will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the EAC Nursing Education Center. The EAC Nursing Education Center is located at 550 N. College Ave., in Thatcher.
Parents should contact local schools to obtain the required forms. Please make sure to answer all history questions and provide detail as indicated. The forms must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian and student prior to the clinic.

We are 16 days into our summer break and the Tech Department has been busy cleaning Chromebooks at Metcalf Elementary School. We will be finished with Metcalf today and moving onto cleaning devices at Morenci High School.

8th Grade - Wednesday, May 24th @ 8:00 a.m.
5th to 7th Grade - Thursday, May 25th @ 8:30 a.m.
9th to 11th Grade - Thursday, May 25th @ 2:20 p.m.
Please have all stickers removed from the Chromebook.
Remember to bring your charger to school during your grade turn-in day.
In person registration will be on Saturday May 27 in the gym from 11 to 1.

Dr. Adams recognized the SPED Aides and Recess Aides at the board meeting that were able to make it to the meeting. You are the support and backbone of everything we do at Metcalf, they help with drop off in the morning, supporting our special education team, students, and teachers, they monitor all recesses, and help with afternoon dismissal. I just want to thank you for being an essential part of our school, going above and beyond, and making a difference each day.

Our annual End-Of-Year Academic Awards Assembly will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, May 17th, at 1 PM in the high school gym. Please see the list of students receiving an award. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
This year was our highest fundraising year for the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge! We surpassed our goal of $7500, and our reward was making "principal sundaes." We also had 34 students complete Finn's Mission, learning about CPR and the signs of stroke. Thank you for all of your donations and supporting this great cause!
