If you have a shout out for a remarkable FMS staff member please let us know by completing this form. It can be anyone--a teacher, a bus driver, cafeteria staff, office staff, custodial, maintenance, etc. as they each play a vital role in helping students succeed! Recognize their outstanding dedication and hard work. Your shout out will be featured in our Wildcat Weekly staff newsletter and announcements! It will also be considered when nominating Staffulty (Staff + Faculty) of the Month for the MUSD School Board. If you don’t have any shout outs now, that’s okay too! This link will be available all year long!

Ms. Cargile and the MHS Pride Band organized a unique fundraising event. The students collected gently used shoes to the tune of 2675 pairs! The shoes will go to needy people in third world countries, and the money will go to their trip to southern California next March. Congratulations on an ambitious and different way to raise money!

Mr. Aguiñaga and the Wildcat Welders hosted Ms. Reyes's 3rd grade class in the MHS welding classroom and welding shop during the closing days of school in May. High school students introduced the 3rd graders to safety equipment and PPE and showed them how welding works to join metal pieces together. Hopefully we'll see some of them in a few years as Wildcat Welders themselves!

JH Volleyball Open Gym will start today!! Any incoming 6th, 7th or 8th Graders are welcome to come!

We are currently experiencing a district-wide phone outage, caused by an issue with our external service provider. We do not have an estimated time for when our phone lines will be back up and running. We apologize for any disruption this may cause. Thank you!

Enrollment is still open for any child ages 3-4 years old prior to September 1, 2025 and fully potty trained. Documents required for enrollment include birth certificate, proof or residency, immunization records, registration packet and $50 registration fee. You can pick up a packet from our front office.

Good Morning FMS Families, We hope you are enjoying your summer vacation! Here are a few important dates and information to get ready for the 25-26 school year. We look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

Inspire. Lead. Make an impact — join our Wildcat coaching team.

Throwback Thursday: Same Room. Same Grit.
In 1983, Morenci High School opened a new weight room.
Decades later, Wildcats are still showing up — early mornings, heavy reps, no shortcuts.
These snapshots, years apart, tell the same story:
Championships aren’t won in season — they’re earned in the summer.
To the Wildcats grinding now — keep going. What you build today will show up when it counts.

Are you ready to make a daily difference with the smallest, cutest Wildcats around?
Wildkitten Den is hiring a Classroom Assistant to support our little learners as they grow, explore, and thrive.
Great team. Great benefits. Big impact.
Apply now at www.morenci.org.

Boys JH Basketball will have open gym next week Tuesday and Thursday.

Good morning, wildcat families! We wanted to remind our Wildkitten Den and Wildcat Club families that today, May 30th is the last day to turn in a commitment sheet for the month of June. If you have any questions, give us a call at 928-865-0631. Thank you, and have a great weekend!

Over the years, the Morenci “M” has moved, but the pride has never wavered. From the Class of 1970 to 1991 and now to 2028, the tradition of white-washing the "M" lives on. Thanks to Class of 2028 sponsors Amanda Davis and Sabyn Martinez, MHS freshmen stepped up with a brush to carry on the legacy. #throwbackthursday #wearemorenci

Our MHS Student Council was recognized by the American Red Cross for hosting two successful blood drives this school year! With the help of our students and community members, 66 units of blood were collected. This could potentially save 198 lives!! We look forward to hosting again next school year!
