MES November Leaders
The holiday mission of the MUSD Empowerment Students was to bring joy and warmth to the Haven Health Residents. Thanks to a community-supported burrito sale and generous donations, the students raised $1119 to fulfill the residents' wish list! Eighty blankets, lotions, chapsticks, thirty stuffed animals, seventeen babies, ribbons, and eighty stockings—every single item delivered brought smiles and gratitude. The residents were delighted; some expressed it was an experience like no other. The kids joyfully sang Christmas carols and distributed gifts. The lesson learned today: The joy of giving is all about lighting up someone else's world with the warmth of your heart. Carlos found joy in their smiles, Kayslyn loved giving, and Miranda cherished giving gifts and singing. #happyholidays #wearemorenci
